In November, we created a quick survey for the Ethereum community to help us assess the way we do, which can be improved and how we can engage with all of you while we are going to the version of Genesis Block in March. We believe that it is very important to allow the community to interact with Ethereum as well as itself, and we hope to offer new fascinating tools to do so using the results of the survey to obtain advice.

The investigation itself consisted in 14 questions divided into two sections; Ethereum as “organization” and Ethereum as “technology”. There were a total of 286 responses. This represents 7.8% of the current Ethereum Reddit population, or 2.4% of the current @ethereUmproject Subscribers.

So that’s where everyone lives. To summarize the continent – out of the 286 respondents, there are 123 (43%) in North America, 114 (40%) in Europe, 30 (10%) in Asia, 13 (5%) in Oceana and 6 (2%) in South America. No surprises there, although it shows how we – and cryptographic space in general – have a lot of work to do in areas south of the Brandt.
