  Coinbase may list a stablecoin backed by gold, as mentioned on X. Pax Gold (PAXG) was added to their registration roadmap, though it’s not yet confirmed. Pax Gold, an Ethereum-based token, is backed by physical gold stored at LBMA in London. On the other hand, Tether also offers a stablecoin backed by physical gold called Tether Gold (XAUT), supported by $770 million in gold reserves. Both stablecoins provide investors with digital gold assets tied to physical gold bars.
