A bill for a Texas Bitcoin reserve has advanced to a full vote. The Texas House Committee on Government Efficiency approved Senate bill 21. Initially for Bitcoin only, now includes digital assets over $500 billion market cap. State controller would oversee investments. Similar bills introduced in other U.S. states. Arizona and New Hampshire governors signed bills for Bitcoin reserves. 37 Bitcoin reserve bills in 18 states being reviewed. Florida recently halted its Bitcoin reserve plans, joining other states in rejecting similar bills.
