Urgent all minors: the network is attacked. The attack is a DDOS Informatique, that is to say. Miners and nodes must spend some blocks for a very long time. This is due to the Opcode Extcodésize, which has a fairly low Gaspeau gas but which requires that the nodes read the state information of the disc; Attack transactions call for this opcode about 50,000 times per block. The consequence of this is that the network slows down considerably, but there is no consensual failure or an overload of memory. We have currently identified several routes for a more sustainable medium -term correction and have developers working on implementation.
It is highly recommended to go to parity extraction. Use these settings:
-CACHE-SIZE-DB 1024-GAS-SLOOR-TARGET 1000000-GASPRICE 500000000
Parity extraction guides:
If you continue to use Geth, use the following settings:
-Cache 1024 -Targetgaslimit 1000000 -Gasprice 500000000
