  The Ethereum Layer 2 network in Coinbase resumed block production after a brief interruption on August 5. The disturbance lasted from 06:15 UTC to 06:44 UTC. The break, at block 33,792,704, affected key network functions but was quickly resolved, with normal production restarting in about 30 minutes. Coinbase has confirmed the resolution and is monitoring the network. This is the second breakdown, following a similar event in September 2023. 🛠️
  
  The recent incident occurred during Coinbase and Base’s development efforts. The network has seen significant growth, especially after launching the Base application.
